After everyone arrived today we met in the lobby to go see Bernaurstrasse Wall Park and viewing tower to see where the Berlin wall used to be. From the tower, which was located on what was the west side of Berlin, was a small portion of the remaining wall to show what lengths were taken to prevent escape from the east to the west. Seeing the wall was enough to really make me think. The following are some photos taken from both sides of Berlin.
